Limited Residential Manufacturer’s Warranty

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. The following warranties are offered by Odin Ice Baths Pty Ltd “Odin” ABN: 39 159 533 070 in addition to the guarantees provided under the Australian Consumer Law. This additional warranty applies subject to the conditions and exclusions below, and in addition to any compulsory statutory warranties which may apply to this product. 

Structural Warranty

Odin Products warrants the structure of the shell against loss of water caused by defects in workmanship and materials for a period of 2 years.

Jet/Suction Warranty

Odin warrants jet faces and fittings for a period of 2 years against defects in materials and workmanship

Magnetic Pump & Electrical Equipment

Odin warrants the pump and electronic control unit against defects in workmanship and materials for a period of 2 years. One (1) year after purchase the warranty is limited to the supply of replacement parts only excluding labour.

Plumbing Warranty

Odin Products warrants all plumbing fittings and pipework against leakage for a period of 2 years

Condenser & Pump Housing Warranty

Odin Products warrants the structure of the cabinet against failure to support the spa due to faulty workmanship and materials for 2 years.

Other Warranties

Stainless steel inner tub, jet trims and fittings, pump seals and spa covers are warranted for 1 year.

Conditions & Exclusions

This additional warranty will be void if any of the following occurs;

• There is ground movements which affect the product
• The tub has not been maintained in accordance with our recommended maintenance schedule. Maintenance manuals are available on our website.
• The condenser and pump housing is used as a step to enter and exit the tub.
• There is failure to follow instructions provided by Odin at the time of install.
• There is failure to install the product on a suitable hard level surface.
• There is incorrect water management and/or improper chemical use.
• There is grit or foreign materials in the water, plumbing and/or pump(s).
• The product is run at temperatures exceeding manufacturers recommendations.
• There is any unauthorised maintenance, repairs, alterations or modifications.
• There is failure to provide a separate electrical circuit.
• The wiring and installation is carried out by unqualified electricians.
• There is failure to strictly follow manufacturers requirements and specifications.
• The product shell has been exposed to the sun without water in the spa.
• The filters or pipework are dirty or clogged.
• There are termites, pests, acts of force majeure or events outside the control of Odin.
• There is electrical blowout, voltage spikes or operation at 10V above or below 240V.
• The product is used for commercial purposes.

• The pipes freeze over due to seasonal climates.
• The original customer sells the product to a private buyer.
• The housing step does not have sufficient ventilation space 20-30cm.

Coverage of Warranty

This warranty is applicable to all Odin products purchased from Odin directly. The benefit of this warranty cannot be transferred or assigned and is only valid whilst the product is owned by the original purchaser. 

At its own discretion, Odin shall provide free repair or replacement of any defective product or component that has been installed, used, and serviced normally, within the specified warranty period. In the event that repair or replacement is not feasible, Odin may choose to reimburse the purchase price in exchange for the return of the product. Please note that replacement parts may not be identical to the original ones, and their availability is subject to change. These remedies are the only options available to you.

The warranty period for any repairs or replacements will expire at the same date as the original warranty. If on-site repairs are required the purchaser is responsible for providing full access to the product for warranty service.

Warranty Limitations

The warranty expressions specified exclude any other implied or oral undertakings. Odin or its agents will not be liable for any incidental or consequential losses or injuries including, but not limited to, any building related costs. In no circumstance shall the liability be greater than the amount paid for the product by the customer. The warranty periods commence from the date at which the product was purchased.

This Residential Limited Warranty is void if: Used in a commercial setting, the Manufacturer or its designated representative determines that the Odin has been subjected to alteration, neglect, misuse or abuse, or freight damage caused by the common carrier; any repairs have been attempted by anyone other than a designated representative; or if the failure is caused by accident, acts of God or other causes beyond the control of the Manufacturer. Neglect, misuse and abuse include any installation, operation or maintenance of the Odin other than in accordance with the instructions contained in the owner’s manual provided with the Odin, including but not limited to the failure to maintain proper water chemistry and chemical balance and the use of abrasive or improper cleaners or non-genuine parts and accessories.

This Limited Warranty does not provide coverage for the insulating cover, any item attached to or installed on the Odin after the date of manufacture, or for gaining access to any component for repair or replacement. Odin’s used in commercial applications are excluded from any coverage whatsoever.

The Odin owner accepts liability for repair work performed by anyone other than the Manufacturer or a designated Odin representative. 

Limitations on implied warranties

This Limited Warranty takes the place of all other warranties, express or implied, in fact or at law. All warranty service must be performed by the Manufacturer or its designated representative using authorised Odin parts. No agent, dealer, distributor, service company or other party is authorised to change, modify or extend the terms of this limited warranty in any manner whatsoever. The Manufacturer will not be responsible for any statements or representations made in any form that go beyond, are broader than, or are inconsistent with any authorised literature or specifications furnished by Odin.

Disclaimers

The MANUFACTURER AND ITS REPRESENTATIVES WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, and shall not be liable for any injury, loss, cost or other damage, whether incidental or consequential, arising out of any defect covered by this limited warranty, including without limitation, loss of use of the Odin and cost for removal of defective product even if the Manufacturer was advised of the possibility of damage, and water damage. The liability of the Manufacturer under this limited warranty, if any, shall not exceed the original amount paid for the defective product.

Coverage under this limited warranty shall commence as of the original date of purchase and the duration of such coverage shall not extend for any reason whatsoever beyond the stated time periods. These disclaimers shall be equally applicable to any service provided by the Manufacturer and its designated representatives.

Legal Rights 

This Limited Warranty gives you specific legal rights. There are no warranties applicable to Odin products except as expressly stated herein or as implied by applicable state and federal laws. You may also have other rights that vary from state to state. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, disclaimer of certain warranties, or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages so some of the above limitations.

How To Make A Claim

To make a claim against this manufacturer’s warranty, you must contact Odin Ice Baths within the applicable warranty period, using the contact details below.

• Proof of purchase
• Details and evidence to support your claim

To obtain service in the event of a defect covered by this Limited Warranty, reach out as soon as possible and use all reasonable means to protect the Odin from further damage. Upon proof of purchase, a designated service representative will correct the defect subject to the terms and conditions contained in this Limited Warranty. There will be no charge for parts or labor to repair the defect, although providing access to affect the repair is your responsibility as the Odin owner.

You may be assessed reasonable repairman travel mileage charges. In the event that the Odin is removed to a repair facility for repair and reinstalled, the cost of removal and reinstallation will be your responsibility as the Odin owner. The Manufacturer or distributor reserves the right, at its sole option, to either repair or replace any covered part, and in the event it chooses to provide a replacement Odin, it will be of equal value to the original Odin. In such an event, reasonable costs for removal of the original Odin, shipping costs from the factory for the replacement Odin and delivery and installation of the replacement will be your responsibility as the Odin owner. The replacement Odin will carry the balance of the original Odin’s warranty. Lid covers are not included.
