What is the difference between the Lite and Pro versions?

Swift Recovery: Pro Efficiency

Odin Ice Bath: The Lite models use a 1/2 horsepower compressor and our Pro models use a 1 horsepower compressor.

Experience the difference in recovery time with Pro models. Thanks to a larger compressor, they return to the starting temperature in just 15 - 25 minutes, while Lite models take 45-60 minutes.

The Odin Plunge: We use an Omni External chiller. The Lite models use a 0.8 horsepower Chiller and our Pro models use a 1 horsepower chiller and have the ability to use Chlorine which is beneficial to keeping your tub cleaner for longer.

Enhanced filtration with the use of a large 50 micron-filter for The Odin Ice Bath and The Odin Plunge which ensures impeccable hygiene, even with multiple users. Elevate your wellness routine with a consistently pristine experience.

Built for Continuous Use

In commercial or hot climate settings, Pro models are strongly advised as the best option. A stronger compressor and superior filtration make them ideal for continuous use, delivering reliability and peak performance. Upgrade to Pro for an exceptional ice bath experience that meets the demands of your Business or Lifestyle.

How long should I Cold Plunge for?

Cold therapy temperatures and times vary for each individual, the goal is to enjoy the benefits of ice bathing. What we commonly see is a few minutes at a time for each plunge. It is better to do multiple plunges at low temperatures than fighting to stay in for extended periods of time.

Wim Hof recommends 4ºC for 4 minutes as a great goal to strive for. A good beginner temperature to start at is 10ºC for 2 minutes and gradually drop the temperature and increase the time.

How long or difficult is the setup?

Odin Ice Bath:
For our Australian and international customers the Odin Ice Bath will come completely assembled. The Odin Ice Bath is free-standing and requires no plumbing. Within minutes, you're ready to plug in, fill up, and turn on – simplicity at its best!

Odin Plunge:
Setup for the Odin Plunge set up will take 10-15 minutes, we provide an extensive user manual on how to swiftly and efficiently set up your Odin Plunge.

What size Odin Ice Bath/ Odin Plunge is best for me?

All of our Odin products come in three different sizes: Original, XL and Dual.

The Original models are comfortable for most users measuring up to approximately 187cm.

The XL models are recommended for users over 6'2" or for those who want a bit of extra legroom.

For people over 187cm we recommend the Odin XL or Dual sizes, as you will be unable to fully extend your legs in an Odin Original. The Odin Dual can fit 2 large adults or 3 small adults simultaneously.

Can I Put The Odin Ice Bath/ Odin Plunge Outside?

Ensure the Odin's longevity by keeping it sheltered and shielded from direct weather exposure.

While the Odin is water-resistant, its electrical components make it not entirely waterproof. It's crucial to avoid subjecting the Odin to direct, intense sunlight, as this can cause the cooling compressor to overwork, potentially affecting the unit's durability over time.

Exciting news! Our team is actively working on the development of full-size protective covers designed specifically for the Odin. Stay tuned, as these protective covers will soon be available for purchase, providing an additional layer of defense for your investment.

What are the electrical requirements for my Odin?

Electrical Requirements:

All Odin Ice Bath 3.0 & Odin Plunge Models will come with a power plug to suit the requirements of your country. All models of the Odin Ice Bath 3.0 & Odin Plunge operate on 110-120V power and use a standard 15 amp household power socket.

Can I wire in a 240V circuit for my Odin Ice Bath 2.0?

Odin Ice Bath 2.0 only:

Yes but ensure it is 220/240V between phase and neutral - 50HZ

And ensure the plug type is I, as this is Australian.

USA Only:

240V single phase

Single-phase is a service configuration offered by electric utilities and is typically provided to residential and small commercial customers. It is most often provided as 120/240V service, 120 volts for the lights and the outlets and 240 volts for the large energy-using appliances.

The neutral is the center wire. Connecting the center bushing and either outside bushing provides 120 volts. This is called a phase-to-neutral connection. Connecting the two outside wires provides 240 volts. This type of connection is called phase-to-phase. The utility provides three wires to the premises, each connected to one of the transformer bushings.

When the electrician wires separate circuits in the facility he can make that circuit carry either 120V or 240V by connecting the circuit to the proper combination of wires. For circuits serving lights and wall outlets, the electrician will provide 120V. And for circuits powering large appliances such as electric ranges, ovens, freezers, refrigerators, and dryers he will provide 240V.

Cold Climates: does the Odin Ice Bath and The Odin Plunge work in freezing temperatures?

The Odin ice bath is designed exclusively for cooling purposes and does not have heating capabilities. While the Odin Plunge does offer both hot and cold features, it is essential to store any Odin Product when the weather drops below 0ºC and the Ice bath is located outside.

If the temperatures consistently fall below freezing, posing a risk of water circulation freezing, we strongly advise either storing the Odin indoors or, alternatively, draining it and switching it off entirely during these colder periods. Your proactive approach will help preserve the functionality and longevity of your Odin unit.

Drainage requirements - How do I empty my Odin?

Moving the Odin - Will I be able to get the Odin into my property?

The Odin ice baths were meticulously designed to smoothly fit through a standard doorway when tilted onto their side.

How does the ozone work?

The ozone is produced first, and then exposed to UV light. Once exposed to the UV light, the O3 is converted to hydrogen peroxide, which is further converted to hydroxyl radicals.
As an oxidizer, hydroxyl radicals have been found to be more potent than hydrogen peroxide or ozone and much more powerful than chlorine. This is true synergy in that whole is greater than the sum of its parts. Scientists conducted an experiment to determine if using UV and ozone together results in better bacterial reduction than UV or ozone alone. Scientists have found that the amount of UV and ozone needed to complete this task was far less than when used together, than when used alone.
